Before
The clients wanted some interest and character added to their main living spaces. The kitchen ceiling was lowered to add some architectural interest and to install new lighting. The drop also was to create a place to terminate the new wood ceiling beams installed in the great room. The kitchen island was cut down to accommodate one full granite slab. A wine bar was created by reworking the cabinets to left of the oven.
